District Manager

The District Manager holds full responsibility and accountability for all stores within their assigned district. This role focuses on achieving business objectives, driving sales performance, ensuring operational excellence, and maximizing customer satisfaction. The District Manager leads, develops, and motivates store teams while ensuring alignment with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
Reports to: Market Manager / Senior District Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop store managers and teams to achieve performance excellence.
- Oversee 7–10 stores, depending on district size, proximity, and business performance.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, performance reviews, and, when necessary, terminations—ensuring adherence to company policies and practices.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations using established tools and develop personalized growth and development plans that align employee goals with business objectives and company strategy.
2. Sales and Customer Focus
- Monitor and analyze sales performance across all stores, identifying opportunities and implementing actions to achieve sales targets.
- Evaluate customer feedback and inquiry trends to improve the overall customer experience.
- Collaborate with Marketing and the Market Manager to identify target customers and implement tailored local marketing initiatives.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify district-level advantages and provide strategic insights to the Market Manager.
3. Property Management
- Oversee and resolve all store-level repair and maintenance issues promptly, coordinating with appropriate internal and external resources.
4. Operational Excellence
- Ensure operational processes are executed efficiently and effectively across all stores.
- Oversee planning, staffing, and scheduling to meet business demands.
- Guarantee compliance with all administrative procedures, company policies, and operational standards.
- Maintain high standards for store presentation, property conditions, and workplace safety.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of multi-site management experience in a retail environment.
- Fluent in Dutch, with a good operational level of English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
