Credit Controller

Purpose of the Role
As a Credit Controller, you are responsible for the accurate and timely execution of all credit control activities. You play a key role in safeguarding the company’s financial health by managing outstanding receivables and minimizing credit risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly targets for receivables while keeping bad debt to a minimum.
- Proactively follow up on overdue invoices through calls and emails.
- Work closely with Sales Account Managers on overdue or disputed accounts.
- Review disputes on a weekly basis and escalate to account managers or directors when appropriate.
- Handle accounts in liquidation, including liaising with administrators.
- Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers, determining appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
- Provide monthly reports to the Finance Manager on the status of the debtor portfolio.

- Reports to the Finance Manager.
- No direct reports.

Education and Experience
- Minimum of MBO 4 or Bachelor’s degree level of education (or equivalent working experience).
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook) is required; experience with credit control systems is an advantage.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
